- Smart Parts offers up to 6 months /20,000kms parts and labour warranty from purchase date on mechanical items.
- Smart Parts will supply parts needed to rectify authorized claims and reserves the right for used/recycled parts to be utilized to affect any repairs.
- Warranty void if parts are tampered with or in any way dismantled without written consent.
- Unwanted goods must be returned within 14 days (freight pre-paid by purchaser) for a full purchase price refund. Good returned after 14 days carry a 15% handling fee. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days.
- Reconditioned and new parts cannot be returned as such, once they have been used. Any acceptance of return of these will be at the discretion of Smart Parts.
- Smart Parts cannot accept returns on special order items or cut-off body sections.
- When purchasing recycled/used parts there is always the possibility that they may be worn more than may be considered satisfactory. This is a risk the customer must accept in order to obtain a substantial saving over the cost of new goods. Smart Parts will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage, down time or loss of income because of failure of any parts supplied.
- Returns of faulty goods will be at Smart Parts expense. Freight Company to be nominated by Smart Parts.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to supply the correct information on Make, Model, and Body style, etc. to ensure the correct parts are ordered. Smart Parts will not be responsible for freight charges for return of goods where insufficient/incorrect information is supplied by the customer.
ENGINES, GEARBOXES, DIFFERENTIALS:
- Warranty will form must be completed in full and returned to Smart Parts within 10 working days of purchase. Failure to do so may result in denial of any future claim.
- Labour costs will not be reimbursed unless written authorization is obtained from Smart Parts.
- Warranty will be void and no claim recognized where failure has occurred due to or caused by:
- overheating or heat tab missing from item
- incorrect, or lack of, sufficient oil and/or lubricants
- failure to carry out proper scheduled maintenance
- improper installation and/or application
- overloading, accidents, negligence, misuse
- unauthorized repairs, alterations or dismantling
- Please note, when any signs of failure are present, it is the customers responsibility to immediately cease the use of goods supplied and report problem to Smart Parts. Failure to do so may result in serious mechanical damage and void warranty.
- Engines are sold as Bare Long and any external accessories, if fitted, are not covered by warranty and may not be suitable for your application. Inspect carefully prior to installation.
- Smart Parts reserves the right, in the event of a claim being declined, to recover any costs involved in mechanical inspections, repair and freight charges.
- All claims made must be accompanied by this official receipt or a copy. A numbered authorization will be sent to the customer. Any repairs affected without this authorization will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
This Warranty is given in addition to and notwithstanding any rights the customer may have under State and Government Law.
